St. Mary's enrols pupils in accordance with its Admissions Policy, which outlines the criteria for enrolment. The enrolment process starts with the Annual Enrolment Notice in February of each year and closes on the last day of February.
Enrolment forms are issued from the school. Enrolment may also occur during the school year, simply contact the school office for more information.
Our enrolment policy prioritises siblings of current pupils and children living within the catchment area of our school. St. Mary's also liaises with our sister school St. Louis Infant School to help with the enrolment process of all St Louis First Class pupils who are transferring to Second Class in St. Mary’s.
Our Admissions Policy ensures that St. Mary’s can provide an appropriate learning environment for all pupils, taking into account factors such as class size, teacher availability, and the needs of the child.
Our policy also provides for the inclusion of children with special educational needs, subject to the availability of resources and the ability of the school to provide for their needs.
Parents or guardians seeking to enrol their child in St. Mary's are advised to read the Admissions Policy in full to understand the criteria and procedures for enrolment. The school may also require additional information such as proof of address or the child's birth certificate or other documentation during the enrolment process.
All pupils who are enrolled in National Schools will have their details transferred on POD (the Primary Online Database). Newly enrolled pupils will be entered on POD and additional paperwork will be required.
